Description

Eskuf DX Syrup is a prescription medication commonly used to provide relief from dry cough associated with conditions like throat irritation, sneezing, and a runny nose.

Composition

Each 5 ml of Eskuf DX Syrup contains:

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate – 4 mg (antihistamine)

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide – 10 mg (cough suppressant)

Mechanism of Action

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate blocks the effects of histamine, a substance responsible for allergic reactions, helping alleviate symptoms like sneezing and a runny nose.

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide works on the brain’s cough center to suppress the urge to cough.

Together, these components help relieve dry cough and associated allergic symptoms.
