Description
Asthalin Syrup is a bronchodilator medication used to relieve symptoms of asthma, bronchitis, and other obstructive airway conditions. It helps relax the muscles in the airways, making breathing easier.
Composition
Each 5 ml of Asthalin Syrup typically contains:
Salbutamol (Albuterol) – 2 mg
Salbutamol is a short-acting beta-2 agonist that works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and opening up the breathing passages.
Uses
Asthalin Syrup is used for:
Treatment and prevention of bronchospasm in conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
Relief from wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing
Management of exercise-induced bronchospasm
Dosage
The dosage depends on the patient’s age, weight, and the severity of the condition.
It should be taken as directed by a healthcare professional, typically 2–4 times daily.

Side Effects
Some common side effects of Asthalin Syrup may include:
Tremors
Nervousness
Headache
Increased heart rate (tachycardia)

Precautions
