Description

Gabawin 25 M Tablet is primarily used to manage:

• Neuropathic Pain: Pain resulting from nerve damage due to conditions like diabetes, shingles (post-herpetic neuralgia), or spinal cord injury.

• Fibromyalgia: A condition characterized by widespread muscle pain and tenderness.

• Anxiety Disorders: Generalized anxiety disorder and other related conditions.

• Epilepsy: As an adjunctive therapy for partial-onset seizures.

Mechanism of Action

• Pregabalin: Reduces the release of excitatory neurotransmitters by binding to calcium channels in the central nervous system, thereby decreasing nerve excitability and alleviating pain and anxiety.

• Methylcobalamin: A bioactive form of vitamin B₁₂ that supports nerve health by promoting myelin formation and nerve regeneration.

Side Effects

Common side effects may include:

• Dizziness or drowsiness

• Dry mouth

• Swelling of hands or feet

• Weight gain

• Fatigue or weakness

• Blurred vision

• Tingling or numbness
